Our philosophy is simple: Catch fish and tell it like it is!

Check out the What I Know Today for an update of our latest trip.  We only post a report of what we actually see.  No second-hand blabber here!

MA 11 Up From Recent Past and Remaining ”Good”

(06/25/10)

There is some buzz out there that things are “hot” at Pt. Defiance.  Yes some nice kings are showing but I would not go that far.  Creel reports and angler reports have been decent–and it has been a better spring than the past 3 years at least– but it is still hit and miss for most anglers although some fat kings are being landed.  Fish are deep but some anglers are reporting nice kings up off the deck–a great sign that the bigger fish are showing in the area.  Plugs and spoons are taking fish, in my experience mostly spoons.  Needless to say, if things continue to hold steady and improve into July we could have a “good” if not above average season.  The time is now.
